Have I mentioned that BT suck?
Jun. 7th, 2007 11:22 am"We'll normally have an engineer go out to the exchange to start investigating the fault by 5pm the following day."
Incidentally, if anyone else's 'phone line fails and BT offer to divert your calls for you, don't accept, because it drops the amount of compensation they will pay out if they can't fix your line in 48 hours. >.<
Oh, yeah, and another word to the wise: you know their friendly automated system that says their phone lines are busy and offers to keep your place in the queue for your convenience and call you back later in the day when an operator is available..? If you choose to wait in the queue, you get an answer straight away - it doesn't even ring once.
