Mobile woes
Sep. 28th, 2007 07:06 pmI've lost my mobile. Again :( It's not impossible that we'll get it back, and if we don't, we'll get a new one with probably the same number, but right now, we can't answer it. Sorry ;_;
It's actually incredibly frustrating. I had it this morning when I switched the alarm off. I thought I put it in my bag, but when I got off the bus this morning, it wasn't there. It's switched off - it doesn't ring when phoned, and I'm reasonably sure I didn't switch it off this morning. I didn't meet anyone before getting on the bus (which is a private company coach) and I find the possibility that it vanished while I was walking and I *didn't* notice it leaping from the velcroed pocket I keep it in that's up near my shoulder, on my front, nor hear it hitting the road, really quite unlikely. I didn't meet anyone coming the other way - certainly no-one close enough to magically steal it (I read when walking, so my head was bent and my arms up in around the area that the mobile pocket is).
But we have no mobile, so it must have escaped somewhere. I noticed it had gone immediately after getting off the bus, and I got back on and checked, but it wasn't there, nor is it at any of the work lost property places. The bus company have been told, as have the police.
