There is no magic in the world. Its time is past, gone with the fall of the ancient Sorcerer Kings. Ildyrium is now just a university town, its old glories abandoned to myth and legend. But this term, something is changing.
The past is catching up...

Pilot Fish Story

The Royal Family have been murdered, and Anciarin, the court mage, is the main suspect. Meanwhile, on a nearby island, slavers are kidnapping children and the local militia won't stir a finger to help. Ember, a travelling entertainer, is pulled into the middle of the problems - but then, how close to the middle was she in the first place?

This is almost entirely random. The name came during a night of insomnia and the comic followed after. It's a fantasy story set in a kingdom that consists of an archipelago, although since the action is almost entirely based on one island, that isn't so important (but it mattered to me when I was writing it). I had a lot of fun creating this, and I'd like to do more, one day.
