This journal is mainly so I can have a friends page, post to non-anonymous-only journals and maybe arrange to read some of people's protected entries if they let me. I don't blog as such; what little blogging I do happens here.

you could use two different fonts.

We were thinking of using different LJ pics, actually. Don't know how often we'll end up posting in practice anyway. As for the smilies - they're Japanese correct-way-up ones; ^^; is a general "whoah"-type exclamation.

is the lj community completely non-overlapping from your friends on the wiki?
i have been meaning to have a playaround with it sometime, i have just been scarily busy starting phd. i sure ill get round to it *grin*

There is actually a certain amount of overlap, which is part of the reason for us acquiring an LJ ^-^ "i have been meaning to have a playaround" has been much my attitude towards LJ for some while now.

Oh, BTW - you might find this amusing; most of them aren't in anything like a finished state yet, but they're understandable.. :)
