Transport woes and the Eagle Awards
May. 24th, 2010 07:12 pmEver since I got back from Scotland, the trains have been rubbish. In the morning they're fine, but in the evening, I think I remember two occasions when they haven't been late. Today was the worst; the one I normally catch was cancelled, and the one half an hour later was delayed by a further 15 minutes. Useless! And my poor little foldy bike's front brake cable snapped on the way home. There's a message in there somewhere ¬.¬
Much more exciting stuff - the Eagle Awards are now open for voting. There's several names I know in there, including Emma Vieceli's Dragon Heir for the favourite British black and white comic, and the DFC for favourite British colour comic. And also Reya, for favourite manga, which is a bit of a shock but very pleasant. So do go along and vote if you can - you even get a little message after saying your vote has been counted, which is nice and reassuring ;)
