Jan. 29th, 2006 01:15 amI spent today messing around Cambridge in silly clothes. As a result of this, for the first time in over eight years, I am no longer a student. Instead, I am legally allowed to use the title 'Doctor' in front of my name! XD
Graduating with just 5 other people was much more pleasant than doing it in a big group. We had a really nice lunch at College (probably my last free meal out of them ;) before wandering to the Senate House. It's a bit weird; when there's a huge crocodile of people traipsing up there, people can't help but get out of the way. When there are just 7 of you (including the Praelector), people don't notice and we got a bit separated on the way. Not that it's far. The ceremony felt a bit more relaxed than usual, and we were admitted by the President of New Hall, who seemed very nice (and was probably unbelievably bored of repeating the same words over and over and over).
And afterwards I came home and have spent the evening putting a book together and listening to random music. Pandora takes a while before it 'catches on' to what you like. We added Abba recently, so I'm expecting a flood of cheese any time now. Or I would be if I wasn't going to bed, which is definitely a good idea :)
