Having been told off for previous posts, I've put the panoramas from the Budapest trip in a Livejournal gallery (click the gallery images to see thumbnails you can click for the full-size versions)... TBH, though, only the sunset one really worked; I really need to work out how to tell the stitcher about the horizon line, and a lot of the source photos were underexposed due to the camera basing exposure settings on the sky rather than the ground area (the problem wasn't visible on the preview screen, so I didn't know to correct for it).

Some of the other photos have gone up on Flickr; as usual, I have a rate of about one in ten photos actually ending up not blurred and containing vaguely the objects I intended them to...

woah they're beautiful! you seem to have had some nice atmospheric weather, which always makes fo better shots (i find getting good shots in britain is really hard due to constant grey ;_; )

i know what you mean about the underexposure...i haven't had the chance to try stitching photos together in that way before, it looks effective but i get the feeling they're never going to go together perfectly? o.O

i wonder.. if you tweak the levels in photoshop on the slightly underexposed ones, would they come out nearer the right balance?
