Mar. 5th, 2007 10:45 pmHaving been told off for previous posts, I've put the panoramas from the Budapest trip in a Livejournal gallery (click the gallery images to see thumbnails you can click for the full-size versions)... TBH, though, only the sunset one really worked; I really need to work out how to tell the stitcher about the horizon line, and a lot of the source photos were underexposed due to the camera basing exposure settings on the sky rather than the ground area (the problem wasn't visible on the preview screen, so I didn't know to correct for it).
Some of the other photos have gone up on Flickr; as usual, I have a rate of about one in ten photos actually ending up not blurred and containing vaguely the objects I intended them to...

Date: 2007-03-06 11:22 am (UTC)Stitching can work very well, I find, with seams completely invisible; because of the difference in brightness between the photos for some of the Budapest panoramas, though, the seams are quite obvious.
I did consider trying to tweak the lighting levels; I was concerned I'd get visible borders between images due to adjusting them differently, but I guess it can't very well be worse than what I have now... ^^;;;
